Participate in this evening discussion - online - about the latest research on wildfire risk, Banff wildfire response plans, and what people in our community need to know and do to be ready for wildfire.

You are invited to:

  • Learn how climate change is affecting wildfire in Canada and our region
  • Hear about fighting bush fires in Australia and how lessons learned help landscape fire management and emergency preparedness in Banff National Park
  • Learn how the Town of Banff and Parks Canada are prepared to respond to wildfire
  • Learn what residents and businesses need to do to prepare for wildfire season
  • Provide input and ask questions about the Town’s emergency response plan
