    Summer Get Out drop-in sports is a fun, safe space for youth to play a variety of non-competitive sports or just hanging out with a youth leader. This is an outdoor program where we use the beautiful spaces and surrounding areas to do fun activities and sports. The group meets outside Banff Elementary School at 1 p.m. on program days (Big Horn Street entrance). This program is generously supported by the Wim and Nancy Pauw Foundation.

  1. BanffLIFE - Learn to Lead Rock Climbing

    July 18, 2022 - July 19, 2022

    In this two-day course you will gain the knowledge, experience, and confidence to head out and lead climb your favorite routes. Some of the topics you will cover are route selection, route-finding and planning, building anchors, cleaning anchors and routes, lead climbing techniques and more. Technical equipment is provided.   2. MountainLIFE - Mount Temple Scramble

    Heading out early for this full day trip you, other locals and a certified guide will summit one of the highest peaks in our area. The day starts with a walk along Moraine Lake followed by some inclines up and into the Larch Valley, then up again to Sentinel Pass. From there you will make your way to the summit of Mount Temple where your efforts will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, valleys and lakes far below.
