  3. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

    Walk a Mile in her Shoes is an annual event which raises funds and awareness for the YWCA’s work to prevent domestic and sexual violence, and to promote healthy relationships in the Bow Valley. This lighthearted event asks individuals to take a stand against violence by strapping on a pair of their favourite shoes and walking alongside one another as allies down Main Street in Canmore.

  2. Drop-in Public Swimming

    September 13, 2019, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Sally Borden Building, Banff Centre

    The Sally Borden Building at the Banff Centre is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room. Lifejackets are provided at no charge. You can rent towels, purchase swim diapers and other aquatic accessories. Public swimming is supported in part by the Town of Banff. Pool schedules are subject to change.
