    Register for this free Mental Health First Aid for Seniors Training. This two-day workshop trains participants to effectively respond to an emerging mental health problem or crisis, until the situation is resolved or appropriate treatment is found. Who should take this training?: Volunteer or staff member at a senior-serving organization; Staff member or volunteer at a community-serving organization; Spouse, partner, family member; Seniors; Friends and neighbors of senior(s); Caregiver (paid or unpaid) to a senior(s).

  5. The Basement – Youth Drop-in

    June 10, 2019, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Banff Canmore Community Foundation

    The Basement is a new youth drop-in centre below the Banff Canmore Community Foundation. It’s a space where youth can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music, or just socialize. There are board games, foosball, shuffleboard, instruments, books, WiFi and a popcorn machine. There will be weekly activities – rock climbing, skateboarding, bowling and more. Healthy snacks available daily. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation. For Grades 7-10.

  6. Drop-in Public Swimming

    June 10, 2019, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Sally Borden Building, Banff Centre

    The Sally Borden Building at the Banff Centre is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room. Lifejackets are provided at no charge. You can rent towels, purchase swim diapers and other aquatic accessories. Public swimming is supported in part by the Town of Banff. Pool schedules are subject to change.
