Banff Centre Swimming Programs
The Sally Borden Building is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room (the steam room is presently closed). Lifejackets are provided at no charge. You can rent towels, purchase swim diapers and other aquatic accessories. For more on swimming programs, call 403.762.6450 or visit banffcentre.ca/aquatics.

Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Statutory Holidays: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Swim to Survive®
The Canadian Swim to Survive® program is a great way for you, your children, new Canadians or those with limited swimming abilities to learn basic safety skills when in or around lakes, rivers or swimming pools. In the Swim to Survive® session, your certified instructor will teach you what to do if you unexpectedly fall into deep water including, how to roll, tread water and swim 50 meters or to the closest point to safety.

All Ages. Ages 10 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Like many other places in Alberta, the Banff Centre has not yet been able to recruit lifeguards, so this partial reopening will be limited to unguarded swims for:
- Day Pass holders
- Hotel guests staying at Banff Centre
During this initial, limited re-opening, public swim will not be available. Non-members will need to buy a Day Pass or a Fitness Membership to access the pool.
