Apply for a Committee 2019

  1. Eligibility

    To be eligible to be a member of a town committee, you must:

    •     1. Be at learst 18 years of age (except for the Community Grant Committee, which accepts applications from those 16 & older)
    •     2. You must live in Banff (you do not need to be a Canadian citizen)

  2. Application Process

    You can apply for more than one committee, but can only sit on one at any given time. Please complete a separate application for each committee you wish to join.

    By completing and submitting this application form you are consenting to the use of the above information in the public agenda package for Town Council, and to the use of the below information by Town Council, committee members and the Municipal Clerk to select committee members. I accept the release of my name to the general public.

    This personal information is being collected under the authority of the Municipal Government Act for the purpose of applying to serve on a Town of Banff committee. It is protected under the privacy provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. If you have any questions about the collection, contact the Municipal Clerk at 403.762.1209, P.O Box 1260, Banff, Alberta, T1L 1A1. Applications will be retained one year from the date of decision, then destroyed according to Town of Banff retention policy.
