Digital SLR & Smartphone Photography

Learn how to get quality photos from your Digital SLR and your smartphone. This class will cover the basics and teach you how to use them to their fullest potential. Opportunities to go outside for some hands-on practice with the instructor will be included during class time. Participants are expected to bring their own DSLR and smartphone.

Homegrown Art Show

Town Hall hosts an exhibition of artwork created by residents of the Bow Valley. A wide variety of art is featured, including original paintings, photographs and sculpture, as well as live music and fashion design. Opening reception March 6, 7 – 9 p.m.

Community Meals

A great way to meet neighbours and make new friends, Community Meals are a regular part of small town living in Canada. In Banff, a number of churches, corporate and cultural groups put on lunch/dinners for everyone in the community. Please check poster boards and community Facebook pages for dates and special events or call 403.762.1254. Community Meals are by donation.


Chili Night

Enjoy a bowl of chili and then hang out with friends in the large rec room to play pool, table tennis, foosball and more.

Purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at a very low cost. The Community Kitchen Program of Calgary buy directly from farmers or wholesale clubs and deliver to Banff once per month. Includes 20-25 lbs. of fruits and vegetables.
