Sign up to learn about emergencies
If you live in Banff, you are strongly encouraged to sign up for
Emergency Alerts. You can register for a notification by email, SMS text, voicemail or a mobile app, to receive information about emergencies such as wildfire, flooding, severe storms, train derailment, or other emergencies that may require you to take action for safety.
Your registration also signs you up for notifications about road closures, parking bans on your street, events, or other localized issues, based on your proximity to the affected area. Marking your home and place of work ensures you get the notification that matters to you.
