Notice of Public Hearing
Bylaw 413 – Land Use Bylaw Amending Bylaw – Schedule E – Application Notification Sign Requirements

Date of Hearing: Monday, April 8, 2019
Place of Hearing: Town of Banff Town Hall Council Chambers, 110 Bear Street, Banff
Time of Hearing: 2 p.m.

Bylaw 413
The purpose of proposed Bylaw 413 is to amend Town of Banff Land Use Bylaw Schedule E to reflect new application sign size requirements. Bylaw 413 introduces minor changes to the small and medium sign dimensions, and introduces a large notification sign size for larger development projects.


A copy may also be inspected at Banff Town Hall, 110 Bear Street, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. 

Submitting Your Comments
A Public Hearing provides an opportunity for members of the public to provide feedback to Council on a proposed bylaw. Any member of the public may submit comments to Council at the public hearing, either in writing, in person or both.

Speak at the Meeting
To register in advance to speak, call 403.762.1209. Notices of verbal presentations received prior to noon on Monday, April 1, 2019 will be included in the agenda. People who have registered in advance are heard first. At the meeting, you will have the option of having your name added to the list of speakers. Presentation time is limited to five minutes for each speaker. 

Provide Written Comments
Digital written submissions are encouraged. Written submission received by noon on Monday, April 1, 2019 will be included in the agenda package for the meeting. Written submissions received after this date but before the close of the public hearing will be provided to council at the public hearing. There is also a call for written submissions at the time of the public hearing.
