Canada Day is almost here! July 1 is the biggest day of the year in Banff, and we celebrate with activities and events from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

This
map shows which roads will be closed for the parade. If you’re driving into Banff July 1, expect delays due to holiday traffic.
Park at the Minnewanka Park & Ride and take the Roam Transit Express Bus into town for free. It runs every 15 minutes. First departure is at 10:15 a.m. and the last is at 5:15 p.m.
All buses are free coming from the Minnewanka Park & Ride. But only the Express Bus to the Park & Ride is free. (The other Route 6 buses that go by the Minnewanka Park & Ride on the way to the lake are full fare.)
More info about Roam routes on July 1.
If you’re coming from Calgary, take
On-It Regional Transit to Banff for only $10. Or, check the
Traffic Dashboard for parking availability, travel times and traffic cameras in town.
