FireSmart Work December-January

TOB Fire Department Logo

Starting the week of December 9 to January 30, the Banff Fire Department and its contractors will be cutting and burning to FireSmart areas around the town of Banff.

Residents in the adjacent areas will be notified and signage will be placed in areas work is taking place. Work will be suspended over the Christmas holiday.

Smoke may be visible during this time.

Parks Canada is also conducting FireSmart work on the periphery of the townsite, and smoke may also be visible from that work.
