Bike Month is an opportunity for people to try riding a bike for the first time, or learn new skills, or take your cycling to the next level. No matter your ability, Bike Month is the best way to connect with people interested in cycling. 

 Bike Month is a celebration of cycling. 

To register for a program or class:

Try-It Mountain Biking
In this evening biking session, you’ll get off the pavement and onto the trails in Banff National Park with a certified guide. Learn fundamental skills you need and explore local trails. Equipment provided.

Bike Maintenance Clinic, 18+
Grab your bike and join the Community Cruisers for one-hour session on how to keep your ride rolling all year long. In the session, you’ll learn about bike components, how to properly clean your bike, basic maintenance like how to repair a tire, adjust your breaks, etc., and when to visit your local bike shop.

On this casual ride around the Town of Banff you’ll learn some fun facts about the history of our community while getting some fresh air and exercise.

Tiny Tykes Bike Rodeo
Join the Town of Banff for a fun morning of bike and scooter safety and a tiny ride. During this rodeo your little ripper will have an opportunity to ride or push though our bike course and learn some skills and safety tips. Bring a picnic and have an active and fun morning followed by lunch in The Fenlands meadow. Each little one will get a gift.

Ages 1 to 6. Parent or guardian supervision required.

Big Red Ride
