KidSport Bow Valley provides grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under in Bow Valley can play a season of sport. The chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $500 per child/year, for kids who live in Lake Louise, Banff, Canmore, Stoney Nakoda Nation or western M.D. of Bighorn.
If you require additional funding or support for equipment and transportation costs check out Jumpstart grant program. Gently used sports equipment is also available through the Flames Sports Bank.
In 2022, KidSport Bow Valley made 133 grants at a cost of about $36,607. KidSport Bow Valley acknowledges the Wim and Nancy Pauw Foundation, whose substantial gifts continue to ensure that all kids can play.
