The Town of Banff has declared a State of Local Emergency as of 5 p.m. November 25, 2020. Learn more https://banff.ca/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=1317.
In efforts to help stop the spread of COVID-19, starting November 27th, The Fenlands, 101 Bear and Town Hall will be closed to the public and in-person recreational programs have also been postponed, including those offered by our community partners at those sites. The Town had re-activated the www.banff.ca/active webpage which has up-to-date information and resources for the Banff Public Library, local online classes, ideas and activities to do outdoors with your family and more.
The Town of Banff’s Out of School Club and Into the Wild afterschool childcare programs continue and are strictly adhering to provincial and municipal COVID-19 safety guidance. In addition, our Settlement Services team continues to provide online and phone support for clients. To register for afterschool care or to speak to someone from our Settlement team, e-mail community.services@banff.ca or call 403.762.1251.
