SnowDays Winter Festival

SnowDays 2022

SnowDays is a celebration of all things winter in Banff. Check out all the activities and events held January 18-29, 2023, from Banff and Lake Louise Tourism. There will be snow sculptures throughout town, the SnowDays Play Zone and Skijoring on Banff Avenue.

There will be some road and parking lot closures for the event:

  • Jan. 9, 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Fire Hall and Central Park parking lots closed
  • Jan. 16, 7 a.m. Bear Street surface parking lot access only from alley, until Jan. 31
  • Jan. 16-30, 7 a.m. Bear Street closed between Brewster Mountain Lodge parkade and the Bear Street Mall parkade (Access to parkades not impacted)
  • Jan. 27, 8 a.m. 100 block Banff Avenue closed. 300 block Caribou St., Banff Ave to alleyway, closed
  • Jan 27, 7 p.m. 100 block Beaver Street parking lot closed
  • Jan. 28, 8 a.m. 300 block Buffalo Street going west - 1 lane closure
  • Jan. 29, 5 p.m. Banff Ave reopens
  • Jan. 29, 5 p.m. Beaver Street parking lots reopen
  • Jan. 30, 7 a.m. 200 block Bear Street parking lot, Central Park parking lot and Fire Hall parking lot close for tear down.
  • Jan. 30, 7 p.m. All parking lots reopen
