Community Living Room
Casual space with couches and tables where you can enjoy your own company or connect with others. Coffee & tea is always on for 25c. Come in & play games, read, work on your laptop, use the music room, have a chat or bring your lunch. Games & Craft Night
Come with friends or come alone. You can play board games, foosball, and shuffleboard, or get creative with craft supplies and sewing machines. Close The Loop – Fix It Outdoor Stuff
Learn how to look after your outdoor clothing and gear with some simple tips, tricks and repairs – it’s good for your wallet and the environment! Different topics every week including best clothing for warmth, how to wash and dry down jackets, repair gloves etc. Tuesdays, 7-10 p.m. at The Basement (basement of the Banff Canmore Community Foundation), 214 Banff Avenue.
Cookie Kitchen with Shirley
Miss the smell of home baked cookies? Help bake or just eat! Shirley will have a new recipe every week using some Food Rescue supplies. Wednesdays, 1:30-2:30 p.m., 101 Bear Street, above the library.
Do you want to learn how to make kombucha, tie a fish fly, choose and care for a pet, make your own toothpaste? How-To Nights will have different weekly topics. Gives us your ideas and we will find an expert to share their skills. Free unless materials charge. Toastmasters Mountain Mumblers
If the thought of speaking in front of a group ties your stomach up in knots, Toastmasters is the place to get over your fear! You will be surprised how fun and supportive it is. You don’t have to say a word if you don’t want to! Toastmasters is an international training organization that builds your confidence and skills in communication and leadership. Fix It - Coming Soon
Time for tinkering and repairing things together. Some ideas and help are provided by the staff, or you can bring your own inspiration and project. Some basic tools and sewing machines are available. .

Motoring Munchkins & Running Rascals
Join us on Sundays to give your little ones opportunities to meet friends, have active play & motor around the gymnasium. Parent participation is required.

Over 800 residents gave ideas in the recent Banff Community Social Assessment and we heard the need for free and low cost indoor winter activities and community space. These programs are a trial project to see interest and participation. Please come out and support. Future opportunities are funding and participation dependent.
