205 Bear Street Redevelopment
205 Bear Street will see a new eating and drinking establishment. This spring the project starts with the demolition of the old building. Shoring, excavation and building construction stages will follow.
What steps are being taken to mitigate construction impacts?
During this unusually busy construction period, every effort is being made to minimize impacts on local residents and businesses.
To alleviate congestion in the Bear Street Lane, private vehicle stopping in the alley will be re-located to Bear Street. Signage has been installed at the entrance to the alley indicating that no private vehicle stopping will be allowed. On Bear Street, the 30 minute parking zone in front of the Wolf & Bear will be reduced to a shorter term zone.
