Roam BusMore Transit Options for 2017
Getting around the Town of Banff and Banff National Park is now easier than ever. Take a look at all the free and low-cost transit options available this summer. 

Roam Public Transit
Leave your car behind and enjoy the experience of riding in one of Banff's beautiful, energy-efficient Roam buses to some of Banff's most iconic destinations. Service runs daily throughout town from 6:15 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Banff - Canmore 

Summer Route to Cave & Basin - Route 4
Roam Public Transit operates a route each summer from downtown Banff to the Cave & Basin National Historic Site with stops at Luxton Museum and Banff Recreation Grounds.

Summer Route to Lake Minnewanka - Route 6
Roam to Lake Minnewanka for free this summer. Departs Banff Train Station, Banff High School, Inns of Banff and stops at Cascade Ponds, Two Jack campgrounds and day use, Lake Minnewanka and Bankhead Interpretive. Buses run 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Learn more

Fares
Local
Day pass with unlimited rides is just $5 for adults, $2.50 for children, youths and seniors. Buy on the bus- cash only.
Single fares are $2 for adults, $1 for seniors and children/youths. Children under 6 ride free. Monthly, three-month and six-month passes are available, along with a 10-ride pass. More options are available from Roam Public Transit.

Regional
Day pass with unlimited rides anywhere Roam travels is just $15 for adults. Single fares to Canmore-Banff are $6 for adults and $3 for seniors and children/youths to 18. Children under 6 ride for free. Free transfer to Canmore or Banff local service. More options are available from Roam Public Transit

The Town of Banff offers subsidized bus passes to those who qualify.

Transit Shelters
Transit shelters will be installed in a number of locations in downtown Banff in the spring of 2017. Work is scheduled to be complete prior to July 1.
