The Into the Wild program is an outdoor, nature-based program for grades 1-6. Tracking, learning to cook, crafting and developing outdoor skills will all be elements in fostering and building the child’s relationship to the outdoors. Into the Wild is a program led by qualified staff who specialize in outdoor and environmental education.
Please note, program participants will be outdoors for the large majority of the program hours. Please ensure your child has appropriate outdoor clothing for any weather conditions.
Program participants will meet in the gymnasium at the Banff Elementary School at the end of the school day. Pick up will be between 5:30p.m. - 6:00p.m. at the Banff Recreation Grounds.
Into the Wild runs Mondays to Thursdays from 3p.m.-6p.m., throughout the school year. Please note, the program does not run on statutory holidays and school breaks; Christmas Break, Spring Break, February Break.
