Specialty Camps
Art CampOur Specialty Camps provide exciting opportunities for learning, skill building and fun! With something for everyone, Specialty Camps are a great addition to any child's summer!

Specialty Camp registration will open April 24, 2019 for the summer season.
Please note, program specific weekly calendars and equipment lists will be posted in late June.

*NEW* Musical Bootcamp July 2-5
Grades 4-8
Interested in learning a variety of instruments such as ukulele and African drums? Up for exploring a bit of dance and theatre? Take your musical abilities to the next level through engaging games, hands-on activities and a final performance. Come join Mrs.Gadon (aka Mrs.G) for a fun, four-day musical "workout"!

Grades 5-7
Survival is about attitude and skills; shelter, water, fire, food, tracking, awareness and adventure! Are you a Wild Child?

Grades 4-7
Come join the team from The Bear Minimum for a week of sustainability fun! We will be doing workshops on reusing items for take home projects, getting outside for some waste- reduction activities and recruiting the next group of sustainability warriors!

Grade 6
Tired of Summer Fun? Get a taste of our Youth Camp programs with a week of offsite adventures, ending in an overnight campout and surprise trip. The best part? It is for Grade 6's only!

Calling all creative, enthusiastic minds! Would you like a chance to explore a variety of different artistic processes? Be inspired this week as you work with artists and friends to discover your inner creative being!

Wave Runners August 19-23
Grades 6-8
Never paddled before? With expert instruction from the Bow Valley Kayak Club, you too can be a river paddler! Starting on a lake, we will become accustomed to our kayaks and eventually move to the river for eddy turns, surfing and more. Registrants are welcome to participate in the weekly, Friday night pool sessions hosted by the club prior to camp.

Regular Camp hours: Monday- Friday, 8:30a.m.-4p.m.
Extended Care hours: Monday-Friday, 4p.m.-6p.m. (includes afternoon snack) Add-on $25/week

Based out of Banff Elementary School
