Family School Liaison
Town of Banff Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) offers a number of programs aimed at children, youth and parents. For information on any of these services, contact the Family School Liaison Worker.

Bow Valley Mentoring Program
As a mentor in the Bow Valley Mentoring Program, you will spend one hour a week, during school hours, with a child from Banff Elementary School or Banff Community High School.

Roots of Empathy
Roots of Empathy is an evidence-based classroom program that has shown dramatic effect in reducing levels of aggression and violence among schoolchildren while raising social/emotional competence and increasing empathy.

Parenting after Separation
Parenting after separation or divorce can pose many challenges and you will find information to help you and your family adjust and cope with change.

Counselling and Support Services
Provided to school-aged children, youth and their parents. Reasons for referral include divorce and separation, mental health consultation, social skills, parent child conflict, information and referral services.

Classroom Presentations and Workshops
These presentations aim to enhance school curriculum for Grades 1-11. Topics covered include:
