Recycling & Garbage
Recycling in BanffRecycling Round-Up April 23, 2016
The annual Recycling Round-Up is at the Beaver Street Recycling Depot (next to the Fire Hall) on Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Find out what material you can bring to be recycled. Businesses must pre-register for the event.

Transfer Site
For added convenience, the registration point for the Transfer Site has been relocated from the main office to a kiosk on the drop-off yard's access road. The Transfer Site is open 7 days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (last load accepted at 3:15 p.m.) Drop-offs are free for residents, excluding construction waste. Fees will apply for non-residential and out-of-town deliveries.

The Town of Banff strives to be a leader in waste diversion and recycling. In 2010, each person diverted and recycled an average of 257 kilograms of waste from the landfill.
