Education & Work History
Corrie attended the University of North Texas and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2009.

But her first job in Banff was cleaning tables at Earls when she was 17 years old. She’s also worked summer jobs at the Banff Child Care Centre, the Banff Book and Art Den and Hero Shirts. Her first internship with the Banff Crag & Canyon was in 2009. Corrie went on to work for the newspaper until she decided to run for town council.

Family & Personal Interests
While Corrie believes that friends are your family in Banff, she is lucky to have her grandmother, father, and uncle live in town, too. Corrie enjoys online editing for Highline Magazine and practicing with Bow Valley Roller Derby in her free time. She also lives for good jokes, sunny days, and almond cranberry muffins.
