  1. MountainLIFE - Via Ferrata

    June 18, All Day

    Italian for “iron road,” via ferrata is an easy way to safely explore the mountains. A guide will lead you along and up the 180m rock face while you’re attached to the iron cable and bolts fixed into the side of a mountain. This trip is a fun way to try out climbing. No previous experience required. Registration deadline is May 21 for the June 4 session, and June 4 for the June 18 session. For ages 30+.

    This is a family-friendly indoor activity and play area in the curling rink at The Fenlands. Bouncy castles, basketball, ping pong, giant Lego, slacklining, and more. For ages 2-12 (parental supervision required).

  4. The Basement – Youth Drop-in

    June 18, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Banff Canmore Community Foundation

    The Basement is a new youth drop-in centre below the Banff Canmore Community Foundation. It’s a space where youth can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music, or just socialize. There are board games, foosball, shuffleboard, instruments, books, WiFi and a popcorn machine. There will be weekly activities – rock climbing, skateboarding, bowling and more. Healthy snacks available daily. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation. For Grades 7-10.

  5. Drop-in Public Swimming

    June 18, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Sally Borden Building, Banff Centre

    The Sally Borden Building at the Banff Centre is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room. Lifejackets are provided at no charge. You can rent towels, purchase swim diapers and other aquatic accessories. Public swimming is supported in part by the Town of Banff. Pool schedules are subject to change.     Broga is vinyasa flow yoga for men and people who identify as men. This is a slower-paced yoga practice combined with longer holds. All abilities welcome. For ages 16+. No registration required. Broga is every Tuesday from January 8 - June 25. Youth $4, Adults (18 - 64) $6.50, Seniors (65 - 79) $5.50, Super Seniors (80+) Free. Or use your Town of Banff membership card.
