  5. The Basement – Youth Drop-in

    April 8, 2019, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Banff Canmore Community Foundation

    The Basement is a new youth drop-in centre below the Banff Canmore Community Foundation. It’s a space where youth can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music, or just socialize. There are board games, foosball, shuffleboard, instruments, books, WiFi and a popcorn machine. There will be weekly activities – rock climbing, skateboarding, bowling and more. Healthy snacks available daily. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation. For Grades 7-10.

    The Sally Borden Building at the Banff Centre is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room. Lifejackets are provided at no charge.     A public hearing has been scheduled for Monday, April 8 at 2 p.m. on Bylaw 413. The purpose of proposed Bylaw 413 is to amend Town of Banff Land Use Bylaw Schedule E to reflect new application sign size requirements. Bylaw 413 introduces minor changes to the small and medium sign dimensions, and introduces a large notification sign size for larger development projects.
