The Basement is a new youth drop-in centre below the Banff Canmore Community Foundation. It’s a space where youth can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music, or just socialize. There are board games, foosball, shuffleboard, instruments, books, WiFi and a popcorn machine. There will be weekly activities – rock climbing, skateboarding, bowling and more. Healthy snacks available daily. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation. For Grades 7-10.

The Sally Borden Building at the Banff Centre is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room. Lifejackets are provided at no charge. You can rent towels, purchase swim diapers and other aquatic accessories. Public swimming is supported in part by the Town of Banff. Pool schedules are subject to change. A public hearing has been scheduled for Monday, April 8 at 2 p.m. on Bylaw 413. The purpose of proposed Bylaw 413 is to amend Town of Banff Land Use Bylaw Schedule E to reflect new application sign size requirements. Bylaw 413 introduces minor changes to the small and medium sign dimensions, and introduces a large notification sign size for larger development projects.
