The Basement is a new youth drop-in centre below the Banff Canmore Community Foundation. It’s a space where youth can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music, or just socialize. There are board games, foosball, shuffleboard, instruments, books, WiFi and a popcorn machine. There will be weekly activities – rock climbing, skateboarding, bowling and more. Healthy snacks available daily. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation. For Grades 7-10.

The Sally Borden Building at the Banff Centre is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room. Lifejackets are provided at no charge. You can rent towels, purchase swim diapers and other aquatic accessories. Public swimming is supported in part by the Town of Banff. Pool schedules are subject to change. Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music/dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, fun and easy-to-do workout. The aerobic/fitness interval training tone and sculpt the body. No experience necessary. For ages 16+. It's held Mondays, 5:45-6:45 p.m. from April 1-April 29.

This yoga class is taught in Japanese. Learn how to clear your mind and be present to deepen your practice. You will explore four different styles of yoga including, Hatha Flow, Ashtanga, Yin, and Restorative during this program. For ages 16+. Registration Required.

Yin/Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga bringing together the benefits of passive yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures. For ages 16+. This drop-in class is held Mondays, April 1-June 28 (excluding stat holidays) at 101 Bear Street, above the library, in the Pioneer Room.
