This workshop is the fourth part of the Physical Literacy Instructor Program. By the end of the workshop participants will be able to integrate concepts from the previous three courses to create a physical literacy enriched environment for program participants. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be provided with an activation key to take the final summative assessment to complete the Physical Literacy Instructor Program. Participants must provide proof of completion for the first three training modules when registering for the Sport for Life Quality Physical Literacy Experiences training.

Drop-in Gentle Flow Yoga is held Fridays, 12-1 p.m. at The Fenlands from January 11-March 29. No class January 18. For ages 16+.

Drop-in Public Skating is open to everyone. It's held Monday through Friday, 12-1:30 p.m., excluding stat holidays. Helmets recommended.

Mountain Adventurers is an outdoor program where students go canoeing, mountain biking, rock climbing, cross-country skiing and more. Led by qualified staff who specialize in outdoor recreation. Programs are held on PD half day Fridays following the Canadian Rockies Public School calendar. Registration opens on the 15th of the month for the following month’s program (for example, to register your child for the December dates, you would call on November 15). Register in person at the Community Services desk at Town Hall, or call 403.762.1251. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation.

Drop-in Sticks & Pucks is unstructured ice time for all ages. Work on stick handling or just have fun on the ice. Helmets and gloves are required. This session is held only on PD half day Fridays.

Drop-in Youth Shinny is an informal game of hockey for players under 12. Full gear is required. This session is held only on PD half day Fridays.

Get Out drop-in sports night offers a fun, safe space for youth to play a variety of non-competitive sports. Youth get to help set the night’s agenda, choosing their sports and activities or simply just hanging out. Snacks, beverages and small giveaways are included. For Grades 7-10.
