    The Banff Farmers Market is held every Wednesday in the summer. This year the market will be held in the Central Park parking lot. Vendors offer everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to artwork.

  1. Preschool Storytime

    September 26, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM @ Banff Public Library

    Children 2-6 are invited, along with their parents, caregivers or family members to participate in a half hour drop-in program. Each week a new theme is explored that features related stories, songs, rhymes and finder plays.

    Children 0-2 are invited along with their parents, caregivers, and/or family members to participate in a half hour drop-in program that includes rhymes and rhythms, bouncing, active songs, finger plays and stories. This program promotes early language development and positive child/adult interactions and bonding.

  3. Meditation & Yoga Nidra Reset

    Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation practice during which students are comfortably laying down and guided through meditation that is meant to rejuvenate the nervous system and turn negative thoughts into positive ones.   4. The Basement – Youth Drop-in

    September 26, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Banff Canmore Community Foundation

    The Basement is a new youth drop-in centre below the Banff Canmore Community Foundation. It’s a space where youth can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music, or just socialize. There are board games, foosball, shuffleboard, instruments, books, WiFi and a popcorn machine. There will be weekly activities – rock climbing, skateboarding, bowling and more. Healthy snacks available daily. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation. For Grades 7-10.

  5. Drop-in Public Swimming

    September 26, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Sally Borden Building, Banff Centre

    The Sally Borden Building at the Banff Centre is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room. Lifejackets are provided at no charge. You can rent towels, purchase swim diapers and other aquatic accessories. Public swimming is supported in part by the Town of Banff.
