Banff residents are welcome to watch fire crews from Parks Canada and the Banff Fire Department during a training exercise simulating the protection of town in the event of a wildfire. This joint exercise will involve fire crews deploying hoses, sprinkler systems and other fire-suppression equipment. Residents interested in observing are encouraged to walk, bike or take Roam Public Transit because parking in the area is limited. We thank neighbourhood residents for their patience during the training.

Enjoy a ride outside without the strain of too much pedaling. This four-person bike provides opportunities for greater levels of fitness, social connectivity, and it's a lot of fun. This bike is for adults and specifically for Banff residents. The purpose of the program is to provide at risk and vulnerable populations in Banff with opportunities for greater fitness and social connectivity to improve both their physical and mental health.

Hike Tunnel Mountain with a group and get some exercise while making new friends. For ages 14 and up. You can register for a single day or for all the hikes. Register by noon the Monday before each hike. Hikes are held every Tuesday, June 5 to September 25.
