This program is an entertaining and informative way to make the most of your time in Banff National Park. New residents to Banff & Lake Louise discover how they can become knowledgeable locals and ambassadors to visitors. Learn about wildlife, local history, landmarks, park rules and how to stay safe in the park. Learn about community resources and activities in Banff National Park. Registration is not required, but arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the session.

The Basement is a new youth drop-in centre below the Banff Canmore Community Foundation. It’s a space where youth can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music, or just socialize. There are board games, foosball, shuffleboard, instruments, books, WiFi and a popcorn machine. There will be weekly activities – rock climbing, skateboarding, bowling and more. Healthy snacks available daily. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation. For Grades 7-10.

The Good Food Box is an affordability program of the Community Services department. The Good Food Box is available to residents of Banff. How the Good Food Box Works: Participants pre-order and pre-pay for boxes. The boxes will be available for pick up on the delivery evening or the following morning at 101 Bear Street. The Town of Banff Governance and Finance Committee reviews financial policies, financial statements, fees and charges and the Financial Plan. Meetings are held in the council chamber and are open to the public. The Mayor and Town Councillors are the sole members of the committee. This is a Service Review meeting.
