  1. Strategic Plan Info/Feedback Session

    December 20, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ 101 Bear Street, Pioneer Room (above the library)

    The Town of Banff is seeking your feedback on the Draft 2019-2022 Strategic Plan, which focuses attention and resources on improving performance in 5 priority areas over the next 4 years. The draft plan was developed from guidance of the 10-year Community Plan and other long-term plans, as well as input to Council over the past year on major challenges for the town and emerging issues. Have your say on tackling the cost of living, transportation around town, environmental leadership, preserving heritage and managing emergency and wildfire preparedness. Drop-in anytime between 3-6 p.m. at 101 Bear Street in the Pioneer Room to learn more and share your feedback on the plan.

    Drop-in Public Skating is open to everyone. Helmets are required for children 12 and under and recommended for all skaters.

    Shinny is an informal game of hockey. Players must be 40+ to participate. Full gear is required. Drop-in, no registration required.

  4. The Basement – Youth Drop-in

    December 20, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Banff Canmore Community Foundation

    The Basement is a new youth drop-in centre below the Banff Canmore Community Foundation. It’s a space where youth can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music, or just socialize. There are board games, foosball, shuffleboard, instruments, books, WiFi and a popcorn machine. There will be weekly activities – rock climbing, skateboarding, bowling and more. Healthy snacks available daily. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation. For Grades 7-10.

  5. Drop-in Public Swimming

    December 20, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Sally Borden Building, Banff Centre

    The Sally Borden Building at the Banff Centre is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room. Lifejackets are provided at no charge. You can rent towels, purchase swim diapers and other aquatic accessories. Public swimming is supported in part by the Town of Banff.     Drop-in to Banff Community High School for co-ed basketball every Thursday from Sept. 27 to Dec. 20 from 8:30-10:30 p.m. For ages 16+. No registration required.
