Come get your photo with Santa down at the Historic Banff Train Station! Tell him all your Christmas wishes for the holiday season. Santa will take photos from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and then again from 1:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.

As fall retreats and winter emerges, so does the wonder and joy of Christmas in the Canadian Rockies. At dusk, the streets come alive with the magic glow of the Santa Claus Parade of Lights as a procession of floats, performers, and Santa himself traverse Banff Avenue.

After the Santa Claus Parade, stop by Cascade Gardens for a Christmas performance you won't forget with Alanna J Brown & Con Moto. Enjoy the carols and Christmas lights in the gardens while becoming a part of the ambience yourself with candles. Flameless candles will be given to guests to partake in this unique experience. This is an outdoor event, so don't forget to dress warmly.

Stop by the Banff Public Library every Saturday and play, sing songs and tell stories. This program is for children 0-6 years of age and their parents. Snacks are provided. No registration required.

Join us on Saturdays throughout the school year to provide your little ones opportunities to meet friends, have active play, and ‘motor’ around the gymnasium. Parent participation is required. For ages 1 – 3.

The Sally Borden Building at the Banff Centre is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room. Lifejackets are provided at no charge. You can rent towels, purchase swim diapers and other aquatic accessories. Public swimming is supported in part by the Town of Banff. Stop by the Banff Public Library for an hour of creative crafts, exciting activities and invigorating reading materials. Ages 4-7 are welcome from 1-2 p.m. and ages 8-12 are welcome from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Spots guaranteed to the first 15 participants.
