    October 15, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

    Join a group of adults 55+ every Monday at noon. The first and the third Monday Lunch is at a local restaurant and cost is standard menu pricing. The second and fourth Monday Lunch is served at 101 Bear Street in the Pioneer Room and lunch costs is $7.50. No registration is required. Call 403.762.1251 for restaurant locations.

  4. The Basement – Youth Drop-in

    October 15, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Banff Canmore Community Foundation

    The Basement is a new youth drop-in centre below the Banff Canmore Community Foundation. It’s a space where youth can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music, or just socialize. There are board games, foosball, shuffleboard, instruments, books, WiFi and a popcorn machine. There will be weekly activities – rock climbing, skateboarding, bowling and more. Healthy snacks available daily. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation. For Grades 7-10.

  5. Drop-in Public Swimming

    October 15, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Sally Borden Building, Banff Centre

    The Sally Borden Building at the Banff Centre is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room. Lifejackets are provided at no charge. You can rent towels, purchase swim diapers and other aquatic accessories. Public swimming is supported in part by the Town of Banff.   6. Yoga — In Japanese

    October 15, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM @ 101 Bear Street, above the library

    This yoga class is taught in Japanese. Learn how to clear your mind and be present to deepen your practice. Yoga is about getting closer to your true nature. You will explore four different styles of yoga: Flow, Yin, Yin & Yang and Ashtanga during this eight-week program. For ages 16+. Register online at banff.ca/register or call 403.762.1251.

    Drop-in for at the library's BYOB (bring your own book) Cafe. Facilitated by Mojo Anderson. The cafe is held the second Monday of every month with a new theme. Feel free to bring any book that fits with that month's theme. Tea and conversation aplenty. All welcome!
