    January 3, 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Sally Borden Fitness & Recreation

    Make a splash at the Sally Borden Fitness & Recreation's glass-covered pool with great views of Sulphur Mountain. The aquatics area includes a 25-metre swimming pool, a Jacuzzi hot tub, a warm wading pool, steam rooms, and an outdoor sun deck! Children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

    January 3, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ 101 Bear Street, Pioneer Room (above the library)

    On Wednesdays, from October to May, enjoy a home-cooked meal with new friends. Just $2 for a heaping plate of pasta, games and fun. From 6 to 8 p.m. at 101 Bear Street, Pioneer Room. Volunteers are always welcome. Call 403.760.2423 or email banfflife.intern@banff.ca.

    If you have never tried yoga and would like to get into a practice, this Try It Yoga class is for you. This gentle beginner practice is a great way to start your day and be introduced to the world of yoga The Town of Banff’s community Try It yoga classes provide you with time to recharge and stretch your body and mind. Feel the energy as you lay your mat alongside members of your community. Our classes can be as challenging or as gentle as you want. Mats, props and instruction is provided on a drop-in basis.

  2. Learn to Curl

    January 3, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

    Drop in and Learn to Curl at The Fenlands. Instructors will be available to teach you the basics of curling, like how to shoot your stone, how to use your broom, and where you want to get to in the house. Brooms, sliders and grippers are provided. Bring clean indoor shoes, stretchy or loose-fitting pants a warm jackets and gloves. Be sure to be on time, space is limited.
