The annual SnowDays Festival is a highlight of the winter season in Banff. This free, 11-day long celebration, is centered around massive snow sculptures in downtown Banff.

Snowshoeing is a great way to explore the landscape during the long Canadian winter.
In this free Try It program, we'll head out to a local area and learn how to snowshoe and enjoy a morning in the mountains. Try It programs are for beginners or those with limited experience. All instruction and equipment is provided. Free for Banff residents.

Emergency First Aid provides general knowledge of first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries. Skills include: casualty assessment, CPR, AED, choking, what to do for external bleeding, heart attack, stroke. Includes CPR-C and AED certification. Certification is valid for three years. Emergency First Aid is Government of Alberta and Government of Northwest Territories workplace approved. Class #4649
Standard First Aid provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. This course is for those who want an in-depth understanding of first aid such as: medical/legal aspects, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, abdominal and chest injuries, burns, and medical emergencies.
