    January 22, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM @ 101 Bear Street

    Snowshoeing is a great way to explore the landscape during the long Canadian winter. In this free Try It program, we'll head out to a local area and learn how to snowshoe and enjoy a morning in the mountains. Try It programs are for beginners or those with limited experience. All instruction and equipment is provided. Free for Banff residents.

  2. Emergency First Aid & Level C CPR Course

    January 22, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ The Fenlands, Meeting Room 2

    Emergency First Aid provides general knowledge of first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries. Skills include: casualty assessment, CPR, AED, choking, what to do for external bleeding, heart attack, stroke. Includes CPR-C and AED certification. Certification is valid for three years. Emergency First Aid is Government of Alberta and Government of Northwest Territories workplace approved. Class #4649

    Standard First Aid provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. This course is for those who want an in-depth understanding of first aid such as: medical/legal aspects, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, abdominal and chest injuries, burns, and medical emergencies.
