If you have never tried yoga and would like to get into a practice, this Try It Yoga class is for you. This gentle beginner practice is a great way to start your day and be introduced to the world of yoga
The Town of Banff’s community Try It yoga classes provide you with time to recharge and stretch your body and mind. Feel the energy as you lay your mat alongside members of your community. Our classes can be as challenging or as gentle as you want. Mats, props and instruction is provided on a drop-in basis.

Nutritious, delicious, and affordable whole-food cooking classes. We’ll try a different menu each session. Includes starter, main and dessert, plus a full meal to take home for another day. Each session includes two classes. In the second class (on January 31), we’ll cook from what the Good Food Box provides. Cost includes all food and supplies. Instructor: Dawn Byford, Holistic Nutritional Consultant.

Drop in and Learn to Curl at The Fenlands. Instructors will be available to teach you the basics of curling, like how to shoot your stone, how to use your broom, and where you want to get to in the house. Brooms, sliders and grippers are provided. Bring clean indoor shoes, stretchy or loose-fitting pants a warm jackets and gloves. Be sure to be on time, space is limited.
