Banff Access Card
Banff Access CardThe Banff Access Program provides a one year card free of charge to the following Banff residents:

  • Adults (18+ years of age) and their children, living under the Banff Affordability Measure Level (see chart below) who have lived in Banff for 3 months prior to date of application

The Banff Access Card provides the following discounts:
Town of Banff Programs Roam Transit
Community Class Registration (50% off) 6 Month Local Pass ($5 card fee)
Out-of-School Club Registration (50% off) Regional Transit Single Ride Pass (50% off)
Summer Fun Registration (50% off) Regional Transit 10 Ride Pass (50 % off)
Skate Rentals at The Fenlands (50% off) Regional Transit Month Pass (50% off)
Public Skate/Shinny Drop-in Fees (50% off)  

To apply
Complete an application form and drop off at the Town of Banff, Community Support Services front desk. 

  • Provide the following:

    1.   A copy of your 2015 “Notice of Assessment” (after filing your annual tax return, you will receive this in the mail from Revenue Canada - if you need assistance, call Revenue Canada at 1-800-959-8281.)
    AND/OR
    2.   Provide three current paystubs and proof of employment/residency for 3 months prior to date of application
    OR
    3.   Government issued benefits (i.e. AISH, EI, Disability)

    To re-apply
    You must provide the above financial information on an annual basis to re-activate your Banff Access Card for this program.

    Please note
    The Banff Access Card cannot be used in combination with other subsidies or discounts.
