1. This website and all content is fully owned or licensed exclusively by the Town of Banff.
2. The purpose of creating an account and a profile is to interact with the Town of Banff, subscribe to various alerts and customize your Banff.ca experience. The content in all posts, messages and group functions are part of the Town of Banff website, and as such, are owned by the Town of Banff regardless of author.
3. All postings and messages, regardless of author, become public record, and are subject to Freedom of Information and Privacy Act (FOIP). Records of posts and messages on Banff.ca are kept for seven years and are accessible to the Town of Banff at all times.
4. The Town of Banff and the site host, CivicPlus, has access to all profile information, except passwords, including email addresses. The Town also has access to all group discussions, including private groups.
