July 19, 2017, 11:45 a.m.

The Town is not in imminent danger and there are currently no highway closures or evacuation orders in the Town of Banff.

A fire ban is in place for the Town of Banff as well as all of Banff National Park. No campfires are permitted. Propane cook stoves/BBQs are permitted.

While there are no evacuation orders for the Town of Banff, all residents are encouraged to always be prepared with family emergency plans and emergency kits. Visit http://banff.ca/emergency for information on emergency preparedness.
