Area east of Compound Road closed for Helipad

HelipadJuly 19, 2017 11:18 a.m.

The area east of Compound Road, between the Trans-Canada Highway and the CPR tracks, is closed to provide an area for a Helipad for increased air traffic due to the Verdant Creek wildfire.

Only personnel who are conducting fire related activities are permitted in the area.

A fire ban remains in place for the Town of Banff and Banff National Park.
