Learn life support skills for the emergency responder. Designed for those who may have a delayed response to emergency medical services or who work in an industrial or high-risk setting. An opportunity to learn more about Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) may exist at the end of the course. An Occupational Health & Safety-approved course. The fee includes a manual and a wallet card, provided upon successful completion. Instructor: Mike Geisler, authorized training partner for the Red Cross First Aid, CPR, AED and Oxygen Administration & Registered EMR.

The Town of Banff facilitates a school-year program for children aged 1-3 years on Saturday mornings This popular parent volunteer program runs at the Banff Elementary School from October until April annually. For a $2 drop in fee per child your little ones can meet friends, play unstructured games and ‘motor’ about in the gymnasium.

Play chess in a safe and comfortable environment. These evenings will provide beginners with an opportunity to learn the basics of chess, from your opening move to checkmate. Everyone is welcome at drop-in public skating at The Fenlands. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult. No sticks, pucks, figure skating jumps or spins. International certified helmets are required to be worn by all skaters 12 and under, and are highly recommended for all skaters. Scheduled times are subject to change without notice.
