    The 38th annual Melissa's Road Race runs through Banff Saturday, September 23. The event welcomes 4,500 runners participating in either a 5K, 10K or 21K race through Banff's streets.

  5. Lantern Tours at the Cave & Basin

    It’s after hours at the Cave and Basin, but they're letting you in. Your senses awaken as lanterns cast shadows on ancient grotto walls. Mysterious sounds and voices are a reminder that others, like you, have journeyed to these thermal waters for centuries. Lanterns are supplied; you supply the imagination.     The Town of Banff’s community drop-in yoga classes provide you with time to recharge and stretch your body and mind. Feel the energy as you lay your mat alongside members of your community. Our classes can be as challenging or as gentle as you want. Mats, props and instruction is provided on a drop-in basis. A slower paced vinyasa practice, combined with longer holds in certain postures. This practice will allow you to get deeper into your tissues allowing deep release of tension and stress. Suitable for anyone looking to relax, distress and release your week setting you up for a great weekend!
