| Clothes |
A few non-profit organizations around town accept clean, gently used items. Otherwise, clothing can be recycled into rags or thrown away. |
| Computers |
Drop off at the Operations Compound or bring to the Annual Hazardous Waste & Electronics Round-Up each Spring. |
| Drink Containers |
Most drink containers can be recycled at the Banff Bottle Depot for a refund. Otherwise recycle them in the appropriate Mixed Containers or Glass bins around town. |
| Electronics |

| Food Waste |
The Town collects and composts both raw and cooked food waste. You can recycle it in one of five Food bins around town.Do not put plastic bags, large bones, elastics, twist ties, stickers, plastic labels, fabrics or pet waste in the food bins. |
| Glass |
Clean glass jars and bottles can be recycled in the Glass bins around town. |
| Grass or Tree Clippings |
Drop off at the Operations Compound. |
| Light Bulbs, Compact Fluorescents or Fluorescent Tubes |

| Metal Food Containers |
Clean fruit cups, ribbed food cans, pie plates and aerosol cans can be recycled in the Mixed Containers bins around town. Please make sure sharp edges are not exposed. |
| Motor Oil and Antifreeze |
Accepted at Standish Service and Star Service Stations (a fee may apply). More information is available from the Alberta Used Oil Management Association. |
| Paint, Solvents or Other Hazardous Liquids |
Drop off at the Operations Compound or bring to the Annual Hazardous Waste & Electronics Round-Up each Spring. |
| Plastic Containers |
Plastic containers with a mobius loop numbered 1 – 7 can be recycled in the mixed containers bins around town. |
| Plastic Grocery Bags |
Banff grocery stores. |
| Pumpkins |
Remove candle, candle holder, decorations and plastic bags, and drop off in the special pumpkin bin at the Recycling Centre on Beaver St. or in neighbourhood Food bins. |
| Rechargeable Batteries |
Drop off at the Operations Compound or Banff Town Hall. |
| Renovation or Construction Waste |
Drop off at the Francis Cook Landfill. |
| Small Camp Stove Propane Cylinders |
Drop off at the Operations Compound. |
| Televisions |

| Tires |
Can be dropped off at the Operations Compound. Rims must be removed and can be left in the metal recycling area. |
